Nate got tickets to a Steelheads hockey game from our bishop so we invited the Ashtons and Jones' and met up for dinner before at Costa Vida, our favorite! It was a fun night and the kids loved it. Spencer still talks about it often, especially when he sees a billboard.
naturally this was the only pic I took that night
We drove to Caldwell to check out the Indian Creek lights. It was freezing and Kade was not a fan so we didn't last too long. We also went to downtown Boise for free carriage rides, we waited forever but luckily the hot chocolate and coloring kept us busy. It was also FREEZING that night.
Our ward Christmas dinner was a highlight like always. The food is always amazing and of course
Santa is a hit! The adults had a fun time trying to guess who played Santa, and we were all wrong.
This was also the night that started the house-hunting. We left a few minutes early to spend some time driving around so Kade would fall asleep (which he did but as soon as we sat down for the dinner, one of the young women walked by and kicked his car seat and he was awake the rest of the nice...facepalm). As we were driving we were talking about houses and one that we really liked the layout, from the outside at least, happened to be fore sale which got us talking about moving...Christmas we went a bit overboard on this year. We actually had a little bit of money for once and it was so fun to watch the boys, well mostly Spencer, Christmas morning!
And some other random December pix...
