May was awesome welcoming baby Garrett into our family! His brothers were so smitten they had a hard time leaving him alone and just letting him sleep. Naturally, it ended up being a rather slow month for us as we all got used to being a family of 5 and having a sweet new brother!
Mother's day was about a week after Garrett was born which was pretty cool. We kept it pretty low key and just had my parents over for dinner and dessert. My dad always gets my sister mom and I hanging flower baskets and this years was so pretty and has done so great!
That same week, Spencer graduated from preschool! I am so proud of that boy for all he learned this year! He is so ready for kindergarten (even if I'm not!). His teacher, Miss Cherry, was adorable and he really enjoyed preschool with her. The ceremony was adorable and may have even caused me to tear up but I'm blaming postpartum hormones for that.
We had our first family outing to the MK Nature Center, and another outing to the Warhawk Air Museum for their Memorial Day flyover.
Next year we'll have all 3 little owl faces filled
We saw a lot of this in May a we tried to figure out what was wrong with our little guy. He was often very uncomfortable/in pain and struggled with gas/pooping. :(
As long as he was being held he was happier, so we all soaked in as many newborn snuggles as we could!
his brothers loved him from day one. He wasn't too sure about them though.
Kade turned into a SUPER daddy's-boy.
My YW advisor rallied our Mia Maids and they came to visit me one Sunday after Garrett was born and brought me the sweetest gift! There were all sorts of treats for me to spoil myself, and cute baby things as well. One of the nicest gifts I've ever received!!
